We are a small family-owned private practice, serving our community for more than 50 years. We are Ophthalmology/Optometry practice in Scottsdale looking for an on-site Medical Biller who is reliable, detail-oriented, and seeking long-term employment.

The ideal candidate will:

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Ensure all Account Receivables (A/R) are continually worked in a timely manner to collect all revenue possible.
-Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to address billing inquiries and resolve payment issues
-Enter payments from all sources
-Verify appropriate medical codes and process claims for reimbursement
-Send statements monthly
-Stay up-to-date with changes in medical coding guidelines and regulations
Desired experience:
-Certification in medical billing and coding (e.g., CPC, CCS)
-Proficient in medical terminology, ICD-10 coding, and CPT coding
-Familiarity with insurance claim processing and reimbursement procedures
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
– Pay: $17.00 – $21.00 per hour
