Astigmatism Correction Surgery

Astigmatism correction surgery can be performed during cataract surgery or in the office by the use of limbal relaxing incisions. Our surgeons are also certified to implant astigmatism correcting intraocular lenses (toric IOL's), although these are not yet available in the multifocal format.

We use corneal topography scanning prior to astigmatism correction surgery in an attempt to achieve the highest possible accuracy.
